I bring my multifaceted career experiences to every engagement and every conversation.
The Marine Corps taught me the fundamentals of leadership, management, and how to perform under high-pressure, high-stakes conditions where the cost of winging it is measured in something other than revenue.
Working across GTM functions in Fortune 50, private equity, and venture-backed companies taught me how businesses actually create value for customers and shareholders. That commercial fluency continues to shape how I think about and lead employment and workforce strategy.
Building Effikacity® from the ground up reinforced what I already believed: leadership is what determines success and failure. I also know that leadership and management are different and learnable. I've witnessed that most organizations underinvest in manager development. And, not surprisingly, the best results come from leaders and managers who can guide change with the discipline to win the intentional new vista.
A Master of Liberal Arts from Stanford, a Master of Science in Law from McGeorge, and certifications from HRCI and Insights Discovery augment and supplement decades of learning by doing.

How We See Things
Most managers are winging it. Not because that's their approach to life or because they're disinterested, but because they've been thrown into the deep end with weights and no swim coach. It's sink or swim, and they're winging it for all it's worth.
HR doesn't want to wing it either. HR carries one of the toughest mandates in any organization: communicator, facilitator, product manager, service deliverer, operator, experience designer, compliance expert, and employment authority. More Than a Name
Efficacy, spelled with a "c", means the ability to deliver an intentional result. It describes individual skill, often capped at a personal glass ceiling. You can be able without ever becoming capable of more.
Capability is different. It is the potential to achieve durable results at a higher level, built through training, experience, and mentorship. It scales. It compounds. It sticks.
We changed the "c" to a "k" and that K is deliberate:
